Portland defeated Sacramento 127-102 in the opener on Friday. Buddy Hield was a bright spot for the Kings in the loss, dropping 23 points in 23 minutes and went five-of-11 from the 3-point line. Head coach Luke Walton’s new offensive system was on display with Sacramento getting out and running when it could, but the team’s defense struggled to slow down Portland.
