WNBA Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings

WNBA Saturday
Indiana Fever vs Dallas Wings

After two nights of games postponed inside the "Wubble" while the league collectively makes its voice heard after the unrest and violence that followed in the wake of the police shooting of back 29-year-old Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis., last weekend, the action was scheduled to resume Friday.

Indiana (5-9) was slated to play Chicago on Thursday while Dallas was to face New York, both on Thursday night.

"Our organization is totally committed to ending racism and promoting social justice. We support our players and staff in their advocacy and their unique perspectives have shaped our efforts," the Fever ownership - The Simon Family and Pacers Sports & Entertainment - said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Dallas forward Katie Lou Samuelson said as posted on the Wings' official Twitter page: "The WNBA has always been one of the leagues that steps up first for what's right. This season, we're trying to be changemakers and help bring light to all the injustices happening around us."

Back on the court, these two clubs sit in the bottom-half of the league standings.
