Manchester City vs Leicester City
11:30 ET
Manchester City welcome Leicester City to Manchester on a weekend that sees the blues women’s team head in the other direction to face the Foxes in the FA Cup.
The Foxes have made an impressive start to the new season, winning both their matches, scoring seven goals in the process, but have conceded two (it doesn’t take a genius to average that at one per game).
Leicester started the season with a 3-0 opening day win at West Brom, before defeating Burnley 4-2 in their first home match of the season. However, Leicester were defeated earlier in the week in the League Cup as Arsenal booked their place in the fourth round of the League Cup by beating the Foxes 2-0, the first time the team have failed to score this season.
The visitors will be hoping to inflict City’ first defeat of the season, but have not beaten the Blues in Manchester since February 2016, Leicester’s first win on blue soil in thirteen years.
Leicester we deposed from top spot in the Premier League by Everton, who won 2-1 at Crystal Palace to maintain their perfect start to the campaign.
