Connecticut Sun vs. Phoenix Mercury, IMG Academy, Bradenton, Florida, 3 p.m. Monday.

The Mercury will finally play their first game vs. their former star DeWanna Bonner after it and other WNBA games were postponed Aug. 26 following the Jacob Blake shooting in Wisconsin. Bonner is fifth in WNBA scoring, in between Mercury guards Diana Taurasi and Skylar Diggins-Smith. 

The Mercury (12-7) have won six straight and clinched a playoff berth. Connecticut (9-10) can clinch a playoff berth with a win. Other former Mercury players now with the Sun are Briann January and Essence Carson. Mercury F Nia Coffey (ankle) is questionable. The teams will meet again Wednesday.
