FIFA World Cup Qualifying Chile vs Colombia

FIFA World Cup Qualifying
Chile vs Colombia
20:30 ET

The path of Chile in the Qualifiers to Qatar 2022 begins to be written. Tonight, at the National Stadium, the Chilean team receives Colombia, on date 2 of the road to the next soccer World Cup in Asia.

After the defeat against Uruguay on the first day, the closing of the first double date of the Qualifiers to Qatar 2022 will have a luxury duel: Chile vs Colombia at the National Stadium. Reinaldo Rueda's team has the last minute loss of who would be the starting goalkeeper of the night: Gabriel Arias. A tear in the right sartorius, confirmed by images, leaves the Racing goal out of the match. Brayan Cortés, from Colo Colo, will take his place tonight.

Among the other novelties of the day, Mauricio Isla also appears in Reinaldo Rueda's scheme to face Colombia, in search of the longed-for three points in the first stop on the way to the next World Cup.

Colombia defeated Venezuela with authority in the first game, but will have the sensitive loss of Santiago Arias. The Bayer Leverkusen forward, and teammate of Charles Aránguiz, suffered a severe injury in the last match on Friday.
