That goal from the English forward spelled the end of Arsenal's 48-year streak without losing at home to the Foxes. On the first date of group B, those led by Arteta reversed a 0-1 from Rapid Vienna and took the match 2-1 thanks to goals from David Luiz and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Dundalk FC is also coming off a loss in domestic competition. In this case, it was a 1-0 against Waterford United last Sunday that allowed the winner to move closer to third place in the FAI Premier Division, just occupied by Arsenal's next rival. Last week, the Irish lost 2-1 to Molde on the opening day of the Europa League group stage.
