Seattle Storm vs Las Vegas Aces

The Las Vegas Aces will be on the brink of elimination when playing Game 3 of their WNBA finals best of five series on Tuesday against the Seattle Storm. Las Vegas trails Seattle in the series 2-0 following a 104-91 loss on Sunday in Game 2. Las Vegas rallied during the first half from a deficit of 13 points but could not keep up with the hot shooting Storm in the second half. A’ja Wilson scored 20 points to lead Las Vegas and Emma Cannon and Angel McCoughtry each scored 17.
Seattle squandered a first-half lead of 13 points on Sunday but scored 56 second-half points to defeat the Aces by 13. Breanna Stewart was the leading scorer for Seattle with 22 points and was one of five players for the Storm to score in double-figures. A victory on Tuesday by Seattle would give the Storm their second WNBA title in the last three seasons. Sue Bird, who is 39, scored 16 points and handed out 10 assists.
