The Draft is a system that aims to level talent around the league, giving the teams with the worst record from the previous season the chance to reinforce themselves with the best young players available, either from college basketball or from international clubs.
The event is of 60 teams (2 per team), separated in two rounds. The order is determined as follows:
Of course, that order and those two picks per franchise do not always remain stable: they change hands, both in transfers made prior to the Draft, and on the day of the event.
Once the draft begins, teams have five minutes to make a decision during Round 1 and two minutes during Round 2.

- The first 14 picks, known as Lottery picks, are distributed among the 14 teams that did not qualify for the Playoffs. For this, a draw is carried out, in which the worst record is the one with the most chances of winning the 1st, the second worst with the 2nd and so on.
- The rest of the picks (15-30) are determined based on the Regular Phase record of the 16 qualified for Playoffs. The best record of the campaign selects 30 °. The same happens with the 2nd Round.
