WNBA Washington Mystics vs Minnesota Lynx

WNBA Tuesday Night
Washington Mystics vs Minnesota Lynx

The Mystics only scored 48 points in their first matchup against Minnesota on Aug. 11, which to no surprise resulted in a big loss. Washington struggled shooting, going 29.5 percent from the field. They only made 18-61 of their field goal attempts. They did even worse from downtown, finishing with 21.1 percent. It was Washington’s worst game offensively this season and if their Tuesday matchup looks anything like their August one, they are doomed.

The Lynx will be without Sylvia Fowles this time around. The center is out indefinitely with a calf strain. In her team’s August matchup she put up 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Fowles and Napheesa Collier combined for 42 total rebounds that game. Prior to her injury, she was averaging 14.6 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
